Documented Impact for Providence Youth
PASA’s AfterZone (middle school) and Hub (high school) programs have a demonstrable impact on the city’s students with regard to academic, social-emotional, and job readiness skills and attitudes — especially around future planning and expectations — as well as positive behavior and school engagement.
Participant outcomes are measured using the Survey of Academic and Youth Outcomes (SAYO) and the Holistic Student Assessment-Retrospective (HSA-R) assessments developed by the National Institute of Out-of-School Time at Wellesley College and the Partnerships in Education and Resilience.
