To ensure every program meets PASA’s high standards: we listen, we learn, and we improve.
We Listen — Youth, families, schools, and program staff tell us what is working through surveys and focus groups. Last year, 87% of our AfterZone youth say programs help them "discover what they're good at," so we know we're on the right track.
We Learn — We measure what matters. Our annual assessments show real growth: Hub students report 87% increases in learning interest, 80% growth in critical thinking, and 77% improvement in reflection skills. These numbers represent young people becoming more confident learners and leaders.
We Improve — Feedback and data drives everything we do. It shapes our professional development for program staff, guides our partnerships across Providence, and helps us create the kind of programming that makes youth want to attend.
The result? A system that works for everyone, from individual youth discovering their strengths to community partners seeing measurable impact. The Rhode Island Department of Education regularly evaluates our programs, and we are happy to share those results with potential funders and partners.
