Explore the Bay
In this program, students get up close with Narragansett Bay. Students explore the coastal shoreline, learn about sandy and rocky beaches and get out on Save the Bay’s boat to check lobster traps, do water chemistry experiments and learn about seals and other bay inhabitants. Students are given time for journaling and reflection and work on a take-home book of photos and mementos. Explore the Bay is very popular, with many students returning to take the program more than once.
