My Pasa, Su Casa

Have a house or apartment in Providence? Thinking of going away for a weekend? Or maybe you just have a spare bedroom that isn’t seeing much use at the moment. Don’t let it sit empty—use it to fund after school in the city with My PASA, Su Casa!

My PASA, Su Casa is PASA’s innovative social venture, where Providence residents can often raise over $1,000 for PASA without breaking their bank accounts. By renting your house for a single weekend, you can provide a Providence student with a full year of free after school. In the past, our friends and neighbors have raised close to $20,000 a year.

While PASA has previously managed all aspects of the rental process, based on feedback from our home donors, we have switched to using Airbnb.com, a digital marketplace for house and apartment rentals. Home donors use Airbnb.com to list their rental, then give all or a portion of the rent to PASA.

PASA recommends renting your house for the Memorial Day Weekend, as many families of graduating students and alumni of Brown University visit the city for Brown’s Commencement and Alumni Weekend. But don’t worry if that doesn’t work for you. Rent your house when it’s convenient for you. We have a few ideas for good times, so give us a call at (401) 490-9599 x100.

If you’re looking to rent a house through the My PASA, Su Casa program, check out the Airbnb.com listings in Providence. My PASA, Su Casa donors will mention that they’re donors in their descriptions.
