New legislation introduced by Congressman Jim Langevin (D-RI) and Congressman Tim Ryan (D-OH) will help create more opportunities for initiatives that offer a hands-on curriculum that makes learning fun.
Langevin, a lead advocate for STEM education as co-chair of the bipartisan Congressional Career and Technical Education Caucus, outlined the bill today at the boating facility, one of the sites collectively hosting more than 300 Providence middle school students as part of the AfterZone Summer Scholars program.
